Come to Denmark

We have some great options for you as a student considering Denmark as your base for a shorter or longer term.
You can come to Denmark on a summer course, a 3 – 4 or 5 month stay or stay a full school year, depending on what you want to achieve and do while you are here. Schools offer a wide range of subjects and areas to dive in to, depending on your wishes.

How old do I have to be to study in New Zealand?

How do I find the right school for me?
It is very important to find the right school for you. My emphasis is to provide advice about school options that match well with the person you are and what you want to accomplish during your time as an international student.
Are you looking for sports options? Certain subjects? A specific language class? Exams and graduation or no tests and exams? Do you want to try a class like photography or Japanese, woodwork or musical?

Whether your dream destination is New Zealand or Denmark, I help you find the school that matches your desired level of activity whether it is a certain sport or you like to be active outdoors exploring nature’s wonders and beautiful sights.

What is the age criteria for studying in Denmark?
As a student in Denmark the age criteria is quite flexible. Many students are between 15 and 17 years old when they arrive and stay for a full school year (usually from August until May/June). Summer Camps are also available. Please inquire.
Young adult? Not a problem to study in Denmark.
If you have turned 17, it is also possible to attend a school in Denmark for a shorter or longer period of time. Duration from 3 months and up.

Can I graduate high school?
Yes, this is possible in New Zealand. Graduating High School in New Zealand provides you with an NCEA, a National Certificate of Educational Achievement. An NCEA is the main secondary school qualification in New Zealand. The NCEA can be used as university entrance in countries in Europe.
If you would like to graduate in New Zealand, certain requirements in your studies must be included and planned for your time in New Zealand.

I am not an EU-citizen, can I still go to Denmark?
Yes, it is also possible to study in Denmark as a non-EU citizen. I can help you with information on the requirements as well as suggestions with options for to match what you are searching for.

Do I sit exams in the Danish school?
No. Not unless you want to.
Generally, you do not sit exams. But if you need or want to pass eg. the Cambridge exam to obtain your Cambridge Certificate, then you need to study and take the exam.
